Our work with schools
Personalised learning is a key approach to engaging students in their education, yet many teachers still feel uncertain about effectively tailoring learning to students' interests, strengths, and identities. The inherent complexity of personalised learning often results in limited teacher buy-in. Our research aims to strengthen teaching practices across the ACT by providing teachers with the necessary skills and support to deliver more personalised learning experiences.

Awards
Our research team, under my leadership, was honored with the Faculty of Education, University of Canberra Distinction in Engagement and Impact Award 2023 for the Project “Action Learning for Personalised Learning (AL4PL). Building on this prestigious recognition, the project was subsequently nominated for the University of Canberra Research Excellence Award.
